MenuMines is built with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data and do not track your gameplay or behavior. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information We Collect
Crash Reports
We use Sentry, a third-party error tracking service, to collect crash reports when the app encounters an error. This helps us identify and fix bugs. Crash reports may include:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- Error stack traces
- General diagnostic information
Crash reports do not include your game statistics, scores, or any personally identifiable information.
Payment Information
If you purchase MenuMines through the Mac App Store, your payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment details.
If you purchase directly from our website, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your credit card information.
Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be clear about what we don't do:
- We do not track your gameplay or game statistics
- We do not use analytics in the app or on this website
- We do not use cookies on this website
- We do not collect your name, email, or other personal information
- We do not share or sell any data to third parties
Local Data Storage
Your game statistics (win rate, best time, streaks, etc.) are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your computer and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
The daily puzzle is generated locally using a date-based algorithm. The app does not connect to any server to retrieve puzzles.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Sentry - Error tracking and crash reporting. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store - App distribution and payment processing (if purchased via App Store)
Children's Privacy
MenuMines is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
